The water leak sensor provides optimal control for areas at high risk of flooding, such as the washing machine or dishwasher, water faucets, the water pump, etc., allowing you to act quickly to minimize damage to your home. It consists of a transmitter and a sensor connected by a 1.15m cable. Once the sensor detects a water leak, it will command the activation of the alarm sirens, and a notification will be sent to your mobile phone specifying the room where the leak was detected. This ensures that you are immediately informed about the event and the exact room, whether you are at home or not. Various scenarios can be activated, such as turning on lights in that area for better orientation. The water leak sensor operates 24/7, even when the alarm is not activated or is disabled.

Installation in 10 Minutes

Forget about complex installations. No pre-installation or wiring is required as the SOMFY water leak sensor communicates wirelessly with the SOMFY Home Keeper Pro central alarm unit. Installation is done in a few minutes with the help of your mobile phone and the SOMFY Protect application. Simply mount it on the wall about 1m above the floor, place the sensor on the floor, connect to the application with your mobile phone, follow the instructions, and you’re ready.
