G-U Neutral High Adhesion & Durability Silicone

The neutral silicone by G-U is of German production and provides excellent adhesion without a primer on the most common substrates in construction, elastic performance, and high resistance to weather conditions and aging, without corroding or oxidizing the surfaces it comes into contact with. Unlike acidic silicones, it has a very low and mild odor and does not irritate the skin, eyes, and nose, making it suitable for use in enclosed, non-ventilated spaces.

Application Area

It is suitable for sealing and bonding with excellent adhesion to porous and non-porous substrates, such as glass, tiles, ceramics, glass bricks, metals (e.g., iron, sheets, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, etc.), plastic (e.g., PVC, epoxies, polyesters, acrylics, polycarbonates, formicas, etc.), alkaline materials (e.g., concrete, cement, plaster, other mortars, etc.), except for Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), and Teflon (PTFE). Avoid contact with asphalt, tar, or substances emitting plasticizers, such as EPDM, APTK, chloroprene rubber (neoprene), butyl, rubber, paints, and foams, as this may lead to incompatibilities such as discoloration or loss of adhesion. Also, G-U neutral silicone is not suitable for joints with marble or other types of natural stone, as such use may lead to discoloration. Thanks to its antioxidant action, it is ideal for use on frames (aluminum or PVC) as it does not affect the color.

Shelf Life of Closed Packaging

At least 12 months in a cool (+5ºC to +25ºC) and dry place.
