The V500 video door phone kit by SOMFY provides everything you need to control your driveway gate and front door from within your home or you smartphone. With the 7″ color LCD screen in white, you can now identify who is calling, have a conversation, open the door if desired, and view images of visitors while you are away. During your absence, the external panel takes photos of missed visitors and stores them on an external microSD card (8GB microSD included for up to 400 photos with 200kb each). Its modern design and customization options make it particularly attractive for your home. Choose any of the 4 available Background Themes, save the doorbell melody you want to hear, and check the indoor and outdoor temperature. Take advantage of the intercom function and communicate with an additional screen, for example, in another room or floor of your home. The video door phone screen incorporates an RTS radio transmitter, allowing you to use it as a 5-channel remote control to wirelessly operate other SOMFY products. The button panel features a wide-angle camera (H:102°/V:65°) and night vision with built-in infrared LEDs, making it easy to recognize callers even at night. A special cover protects it from rain, and it has an illuminated doorbell button and a name label with backlight. It is easy to install, using only 2 wires (up to 150m distance), for both new installations and replacements of old intercoms or doorbells without the need for rewiring, as the existing wiring installation of your old intercom can be used. The screen, depending on the kit you choose, you either connect it to a socket with the transformer or you connect it to the DIN rail power supply, through the wiring of the house, to your electrical panel.
