If you have multiple SOMFY Protect smoke sensors in your home, all sirens will be activated simultaneously, informing you of the event even if it is detected in a remote room, such as the basement or attic. Connected to a SOMFY Protect alarm system, the alarm sirens will also be triggered, and a notification will be sent to your mobile, specifying the room where smoke was detected. This ensures that you are immediately informed about the event and the exact room, whether you are at home or not. Combined with SOMFY cameras, they can immediately start recording and storing images. Combined with SOMFY TaHoma, various evacuation scenarios can be activated, such as turning on lights for better orientation and raising all house shutters for a faster evacuation.

User-Friendly

In case of activation, you don’t need a ladder; you can also stop the siren through the SOMFY Protect app. To ensure that your smoke detectors always function correctly and your protection is guaranteed, the app reminds you monthly to perform brief functional tests and notifies you when it’s time to replace the batteries.

Its installation takes a few minutes, with the help of your mobile and the SOMFY Protect app. Simply mount it on the ceiling in the center of each room using the included screws and anchors, connect it to the app with your mobile, follow the instructions, and you’re ready.
