SOMFY PRO Home Keeper Outdoor Motion Detector

The SOMFY motion detector for outdoor spaces, with vandal protection, movement, and coverage self-protection, monitors the exterior of your home during your absence. If motion is detected, it immediately transmits this information to the SOMFY security system. It has two levels of response:

• Pre-Alarm

  Informs the intruder that it has detected them without triggering you and the entire neighborhood. The lights of the external siren flash, the shutters of the house come down, and the lights come on.

• Alarm

  If the intrusion persists, the alarm sounds at full intensity and notifies you of the event, sending a notification to your mobile phone.

It prevents burglars by alerting BEFORE the intrusion. Specifically, it detects the infrared radiation emitted by any living organism moving in its field of view and can be adjusted for range, detection angle, and sensitivity to adapt to its environment. The SOMFY outdoor motion detector has a high level of security with triple self-protection in case of attempted opening, removal, and coverage. The coverage function (anti-masking) allows the detection of intentional covering of the detector, which will trigger the alarm after 3 minutes. Thanks to the two detection beams, both must be cut simultaneously to activate the alarm, making it compatible with the presence of animals to avoid false alarms.

Installation in 10 Minutes

Forget about complex installations. No pre-installation or wiring is required as the SOMFY motion detector communicates wirelessly with the SOMFY Home Keeper Pro central alarm unit. Installation is done in a few minutes with the help of your mobile phone and the SOMFY Protect application. Simply mount it on the wall outside your home, connect to the application with your mobile phone, follow the instructions, and you’re ready.
